TIMBG was formed 12 years ago by Drs. Ming Wang, and Galen Hull. The goal is to serve as a platform for communication for Latino, African American and Asian American business men and women. Lation Americans account for 20% of U.S. population today, African American 18% and Asian American 7%. These three so-called minorities will become the majority for the first time in U.S. history in a few years. Not only where we are as a nation, but also where we are going, as the medium ages today are: White: 58; Asians: 29; African Americans: 27 and Latino Americans (legals only): 11 (yes, 11!). On the subject of AI, it is transforming the way we conduct our businesses today!

Dr. Wang is the director of Wang Vision Institute, Nashville TN, which provides state-of-the-art laser vision procedures including SMILE (18+, small-incision LASIK), Implantable Contact Lens (21+), Forever Young Lens (45+, to get rid of both distance and reading glasses) and LASER cataract surgery (60+). The center also provides the advanced treatment for dry eyes using amniotic membrane contact lens that Dr. Wang has invented. Dr. Wang and his team have performed over 55,000 laser vision procedures, including on over 4,000 doctors.

About Dr. Ming Wang, MD, PhD

Dr. Ming Wang, Harvard & MIT (MD, magna cum laude); PhD (laser physics), is a world-renowned laser eye surgeon, philanthropist, and a co-founder of the Common Ground Network.

As a teenager, Ming fought valiantly to escape China’s Cultural Revolution – during which millions of innocent youth were deported to remote areas to face a life sentence of hard labor and poverty. He came to America with only $50 and earned two doctorate degrees, one in laser physics and one in medicine, and graduated with the highest honors from Harvard Medical School and MIT.

The amniotic membrane contact lens, which Dr. Wang has invented (and holds two U.S. patents), has been used by tens of thousands of eye doctors throughout the world in nearly every nation, and millions have had their eyesight restored.

Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration has helped patients from over 40 states in the U.S. and 55 countries, with all sight restoration surgeries performed free-of-charge. Dr. Wang was named the Kiwanis Nashvillian of the Year for his lifelong dedication to help blind orphaned children from around the world.

The film “Sight” (FREE link: sight.drmingwang.com) is based on Dr. Wang’s autobiography “From Darkness to Sight” and co-stars Greg Kinnear. To reach Dr. Wang: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.www.drmingwang.com
